Volunteering
The Citizens Advice Bureau depends upon volunteers
to make the best use of its funding
As a CAB volunteer you could:
• Train to be an adviser
• Help with clerical work
• Help with IT support
• Work on Social Policy issues
• Serve as a Trustee
All new advisers go through initial training of about six months, and then work under
supervision for a period of time.
All new CAB advisers will have completed the CAB certificate in
Generalist Advice Work before they interview clients without supervision.

Your Bureau needs you, as a volunteer!
Why not come and join our small friendly team and help to make a
difference in the community. There are many ways to
volunteer at the bureau if you have a bit of spare time.
